The Georgina Weston Dance Academy, Surbiton Branch.

*We will be running face to face studio classes from April 19th onwards, in line with government guidelines and very much look forward to welcoming you all to our new dance academy! *

I am Georgina Weston, Principal of the academy. I trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance where I studied for 3 years gaining a BA(HONS) Ballet Education degree, as well as the Licentiate teaching qualification, allowing me to enter all students for RAD educational framework, UCAS recognised, Ballet examinations.

I am a local mummy of two, and I am delighted to offer Royal Academy of Dance classes as well as bringing my trademark two stage pre-school programme Tiny Footsteps™and Dinky Dancers™to the Surbiton area.

Having successfully ran academies across London for the past 11 years, where there is a wonderful community spirit centred around dance, my dream is to re-create this in the heart of Surbiton. Watch as your children learn new skills, grow in confidence, and develop new friendships that can last a lifetime, safe in the knowledge they are receiving a first-class dance education backed by the globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance.

Join us for a free taster class and allow us to welcome you to our classes, inspired by my passion for dance and focused on teaching excellence.

Above is a short promo video to demonstrate the types of classes, standard of teaching and opportunities offered by my academy. All images are from our studios and of our students.

Pre School Classes

Coming to Surbiton, for the opening of our new Academy Branch, we would like to introduce our very popular Pre-school 2 stage programme.

Guaranteed to bring smiles, laughter and excitement, where you’re little one will be asking when their next class is!

Tiny Footsteps™, 18-36months:

An early introduction to Ballet repertoire , where you and your little one can enjoy a magical class of imagination, movement and musical development, aimed towards introducing basic motor skills, within a social setting.

Our ‘Tiny Footsteps’ pre-school programme has been specially created by Georgina, drawing on her own experience of parenthood, and welcoming our youngest students to develop their very own ‘Tiny Footsteps’.

A chance for parent/ carer to share their Childs first ballet experience, interacting together and capturing those first dancing memories- as well as making friends with others within the class!

Dinky Dancers™ Aged 3 – 4 years

Our very popular pre-school ballet classes which are the perfect preparation for the year before starting primary school.

Classes encourage children to be confident and independent in their movement and musical abilities, trying their ‘pony gallops’ , ‘skips’ and other basic motor movements, dancing along with big smiles to engaging musical tracks. Children’s imaginations are encouraged through magical ballet stories and routines, skipping through ballet steps with ease.  The children learn basic ballet steps , an introduction to poise and good posture, but also life long principles and social skills which will serve them well as they approach the school age.
